Abstract

RELIGION`s state of being or not BEING AGAINST REASON has been a problem focused on by many Muslim and non Muslim scholars. The problem for such a philosopher as SADRUL MUTA'ALLIHIN SHIRAZI who, on the one hand, as a philosopher is of demonstrative manner and, on the other, as a Quran and tradition commentator, need more discussion. In addition to supporting justice side when speaking of the mentioned relation, he make the irreasonability of the rival view clear. In the paper, it has been sought to support his view and to criticise those views going from one extreme to the other.
