Designing and Explaining the Model of Human Resource Agility in the Ports and Maritime Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract

 The current research was conducted with the aim of designing and explaining the human resource agility model in the Ports and Maritime Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The type of research is developmental in terms of purpose and practical in terms of results, and it is qualitative and quantitative in terms of the type of data. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative part included 15 scientific experts and experts in the field of human resources management and managers of the Ports and Maritime Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who were selected by a non-probability, judgmental and purposeful sampling method, and in the quantitative part, it included all employees. There were 1404 people in Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization with master's and doctorate degrees, according to Cochran's formula, the sample size was determined to be 302 people and they were selected using stratified random sampling. The data collection tools in the qualitative part included semi-structured interviews, and in the quantitative part, researcher-made questionnaires. The validity of the interviews was confirmed through retesting, and the content validity of the quantitative part of the questionnaire was also confirmed by experts. The method of data analysis in the qualitative part included theme analysis and in the quantitative part structural equation modeling in order to validate the model.
