Abstract

 Business intelligence enables organizations to make conscious decision - making capability and thus can be a source of competitive advantage. The main purpose of this research is to design and explain the business intelligence model for the subsidiaries of Bank Melli Iran. business intelligence has technical-social dimensions and has many elements and complexities. designing and explaining the model in this area requires understanding the elements and internal relationships of dimensions and components in the specific social context of designing and applying the model. the type of research is based on purpose, practical and in terms of nature and methodology, in the first stage due to the recognition of the dimensions of the model, exploratory, in the second stage is comparative study of selected models and in the third stage is analytical. In terms of data type, it is qualitative-quantitative (combined method). Using exploratory factor analysis, hypothesis testing was performed and using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling, the validity and reliability of the model were investigated. The statistical population includes academic experts and specialists, managers and IT specialists in the subsidiaries of Bank Melli Iran who are active in the field of business intelligence in the banking industry. Accordingly, the main question of the research is As a result, the calculated model has three dimensions of design, project and Implementation, and the model has a good fit. It is suggested that business intelligence architecture modeling in companies affiliated with Bank Melli Iran be done in a separate research format.
