Abstract

There is no doubt about the fact that various writing systems differ from each other. But is it possible to propound a model which will account for these differences and will help to facilitate the identification of various orthographic systems? By modeling we mean studying the structure of written words in a way as to use it for identifying certain language among various languages. In this paper, we have used the length of the words and we will show how it is possible to identify five languages with the help of statistical analysis.
