Abstract

The present research that is basically a library research, attempts to shed light on the partial contribution to the development and growth of Spain through a study of their economic role in the Spain of the Medieval Ages. In this inquiry, following a concise sketch of the. identification of Modajjanan, their role in the Christian Spanish society will also be discussed. Furthermore, the potentials of this Islamic group regarding agriculture and industry will be arialyzed. It will be noted that even though the Christian rulers were relentlessly against the religious identity of the Islamic minority groups, they never rejected their economic might and continued to benefit from them.
