Abstract

Robai is a well known genre in Persian poetry which many Persian poets namely Jalal al-Din Mowlana has adapted so many times. Moulana has been the center of attention by many literary scholars with his two outstanding works that is to say Masnavi and Ghazaliat Shams. Nevertheless the world of his Robaiyat likewise is filled with poetic experiences and ARTISTIC INNOVATIONS which must not be overlooked. However, the literary credit of Robaiyat is overshadowed by the above illuminating works. This article points to certain artistic motivations, and literary innovations in ROBAIYAT MOULANA. The reference for this study has been Kolliyate Shams Tabrizi provided by Towfiq Sobhani published in 1381 by Ghatreh publications. This work contains 1983 robai.
