Abstract

during recent decades, developed and developing countries’ economy have changed incrementally. Blurring the traditional boundaries of trade between countries and expansion of companies’ business scope has led to transformation in business structures and exports considered as a competitive priority for large and small companies. More share of KNOWLEDGE-BASED PRODUCTS and services in export portfolio of developed countries, leads to greater attention in economic development by developed countries for many years. This paper reviews related literature and statistics to shed more lights on KNOWLEDGE-BASED EXPORT PERFORMANCE and related challenges for Iranian practitioners and then introduces several solutions focusing on the factors affecting exporters’ PERFORMANCE through KNOWLEDGE-BASED PRODUCTS in export MARKETs. For this purpose, this paper focuses on MARKET Orientation, MARKET Knowledge Competence and Entrepreneurial Capability. It explains their theoretical foundation and investigates the role of these variables in Iranian KNOWLEDGE-BASED PRODUCTS exporters’ PERFORMANCE improvement. finally, it presents some suggestions both on researches and/or executions.
