Abstract

Rapid advancements in Emerging Technologies have significantly transformed the global Innovation Ecosystem in recent decades. Technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Biotechnology, Blockchain, and Robotic Automation are recognized as the pillars of these transformations. These technologies have improved processes and increased efficiency and contributed to creating new business models and developing innovative enterprises. Consequently, by facilitating access to data, enhancing decision-making processes, and increasing organizational flexibility, these technologies have helped countries strengthen their position in the global economy and gain greater competitiveness in international markets. Iran has not been exempt from this trend, and by focusing on Emerging Technologies such as AI and IoT, the country seeks to strengthen its Innovation Ecosystem. Developing these technologies, especially in the country's economic and industrial sectors, presents new opportunities for innovation and entry into global markets. Iranian Startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can also leverage these technologies to compete in domestic and international markets. This paper examines the role and impact of Emerging Technologies on Iran's Innovation Ecosystem and, through an analysis of existing evidence, provides recommendations for optimizing the use of these technologies. Furthermore, by comparing global experiences and analyzing the current situation in Iran, this study aims to present a clear vision of the future of innovation in the country and offers practical solutions to improve innovation and technology conditions in Iran.
