Abstract

 Operation Family style is one of the systems of agricultural operation in Iran that has a very long history in the villages of our country. The features and hallmarks of operation Family style is the use of family labor force, the small size of farms and priority of a security business needs. The purpose of this study is review and determine the mode of family exploitation at the economy of rural households Astane Achrafieh city Gilan country with an emphasis on horticultural crops. Therefore the study is in terms of goal functional and in terms of method and nature descriptive - analytical. Information for research is obtained through the documentary sources and surveys and field studies. The population is all the villagers have the mode of family exploitation that on side of main job namely rice cultivation act the cultivation and production of horticultural crops such as vegetables products, kitchen garden and. ..as a side activity. Accordingly since almost all the villages in the central part Astane Achrafieh city were with such characteristics have been studied exploiters of this range That Was greater in the two villages Kysom and Chahardeh. The sample size based on Morgan, obtained 361 operator that questionnaire classified, distribution and completed the method random sampling in the sample villages. Verify the validity of the questionnaire questions enjoying the specialists and reliability through Cronbach's alpha test is set 0.92.The results show that the mode of family exploitation has been a long history in the study area more done on farms a very small size and with private property that easy access and located the villages fringes of the main communication network, there has been a crucial role in addressing villagers in these activities and its development in recent years. The mode of farm exploitation which has been a fringe activity have relative satisfaction villagers from economic and its role in income and improving rural livelihoods was moderate. According to villagers government support for these types of activities, insurance products holding classes and training courses is the most practical in development and future expansion of this activity.
