Abstract

 One of the growing branches of ECOTOURISM is ECOTOURISM that for its suitability considering the special criteria is very important. In line with this, the selection of suitable sites for ECOTOURISM and environmental planning is critical. In this study, different relevant international and national based criteria to the site selection of ECOTOURISM were examined. Based on the 19 literature review and regard to their entity, study area condition and the issue of study, 8 criteria and 16 sub-criteria were selected. Using the AHP method, criteria and sub-criteria weighted separately and determined weights implemented to the FOREST PARK site selection problem as a mathematical model. Then the map of each sub-criteria created and standardized in the GIS environment. Finally, the suitable zones of ECOTOURISM in Gale-gol Basin was identified by constructed mathematical model and the WLC method.
