Abstract

Iran's Islamic Revolution centered on religion in the 20th century took place with a different form and content compared to other world revolutions, and various indicators of Soft power were created with the Islamic Revolution, which was the source of fundamental changes at the national, regional and international levels. It became international. In recent years, the category of Explanation Jihad as an emerging element, like other elements, has played an effective role in producing and strengthening the Soft power of the Islamic Revolution. With the aim of analyzing the role of Explanation Jihad in strengthening the Soft power of the Islamic Revolution, this article tries to identify the role and place of Explanation Jihad and to determine its dimensions and angles. For this reason, the role and position of Explanation Jihad in the Soft power of the Islamic Revolution is discussed with a descriptive-analytical method. The main question is, what is the role of Explanation Jihad in strengthening the Soft power of the Islamic Revolution? The findings of the research showed that Explanation Jihad has an effective role in the Soft power of the Islamic Revolution by strengthening the political discourse of Islam, supremacy of national unity, strengthening the desire for justice, exalting the discourse of political Islam and making Islamic culture attractive. The results of the research showed that Explanation Jihad, as a key and unique component, plays a fundamental role in strengthening the Soft power of the Islamic Revolution.
