Abstract

In the following paper, the main scenarios about the future of the world are explained at the beginning, then the scenario of ' THE WORLD LIKE A CASTLE' will be determined and analyzed as the most likely destiny of the human beings by considering the persistence of the current status quo in all levels of the world. After that, the role of the UNITED STATES in keeping and protecting the hegemony of ' DISASTROUS CAPITALISM' will be discussed and we will see that the persistency of the current situation can be a factor to a fall and failure on the threshold of barbarity. Finally by analyzing the best seller and controversial movies such as: 2012, ARMAGEDDON and THE INDEPENDENCE DAY, we evaluate the show of this depiction of the final day and revise the theory of ' THE WORLD LIKE A CASTLE' as a bitter but awakening image of the future of the world, provided that there will be no challenge to the hegemony that we mentioned earlier.
