Abstract

FEMINISM that means the favoritism of of women’s liberation is a French word the woman’s rights and the movement. If these definitions get considered, this word will be as old as the history itself. This movement with the Islamic trend in Iran was initiated from the Constitutionalism Period. Simultaneously, a large number of materials were written about this movement by authors who were men and women. In the recent two decades, the women could change the masculine thoughts and alter the conditions in favor of themselves, while the women were mainly considered and analyzed on the base of the masculine views in the men’s literature. The FEMINIST CRITICISM also is going to investigate the role of the women based on these two pivots: the work creator (woman as an author) and the created character (the presented visage of woman in the authors’ works). The first pivot and tendency that have been posed namely “the criticism of women” and the second one termed “the manifestations of woman”. In this paper, the FEMINIST CRITICISM and the study of woman’s visage in the set of the short stories that is named “The Vangoc aunt’s daughter” -in Persian called “Dohktar Khaleye Vangoc”- and written by FARIDEH KHORRAMI in the 80th decade, have been surveyed and investigated. In order to do this, firstly the summary of twelve short stories is stated then the criticism of them is presented by exploiting the above mentioned points of views. By means of criticizing this set of short stories, we are able to find out that this work indicates the feminine worry of its author. The theme of the considered short stories involves the social-affective matters vis-à-vis the men and society. Undoubtedly, the basis of these topics is the women problems and their limitations. The creation of the ideas against the man was caused by the author’s woman-pivot thinking.
