Abstract

Aim: this study aimed to develop a native marital quality model. Method: The present study was conducted by applying a qualitative method using the grounded theory approach. The participants of the study 22 couples of Ahvaz city That by purposive-snobaling sampling method. Data were gathered using interviewed using semi-structured method, and were analyzed with the open, axial and selective stages. according to the coding paradigm, In the open stage, 25 concepts, 6 main categories, A nuclear category called 'marital quality: A social, family and individual phenomenon'. Conclusion: According to the findings of the study, marital quality was an issue that should first be investigated and judged according to the context of each society. Secondly, it was concluded that marital quality should be scrutinized as a micro variable at the level of the main actors of the family, namely a “ wife and a husband. ”
