Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of constructing and validating the scale for beginning to RETIREMENT syndromes in male and female beginning to retirees in Esfahan organizations in the spring of 1386. In order to reach the goal of study, of begins to RETIREMENT, 487 people from difference organizations selected with use of simple random sampling. A questionnaire with 68 items beginners to RETIREMENT was developed using preliminary interviews, theoretical literature review, consulting authorities in the field, identify the factors indicating the RETIREMENT beginning to syndromes, i.e. the set of feelings and signs that beginners to RETIREMENT experience, and once pilot-tested on 30 beginners to RETIREMENT on rolled with other organization, a questionnaire with 50 questions was developed based on the previous questionnaire for group. The criteria for selecting questions were the presence of positive correlation with the whole test and positive factorial load of 0.4 Once the questions were selected and tested on study samples of 487 respectively, the reliability and validity of the tests was examined using the factor analysis (with use of principle components method and Varimax method of rotation). In factorial analysis, four factors capable of accounting for a total of of the total variance, were extracted the Cronbach's Alpha for the four factors were 0.09,0.63,0.43 and 0.600 respective being significant at P<0.01 level. The Cronbach's Alpha for the whole test, too, was estimated to be 0.88.
