Abstract

MANAGEMENT in Islamic system and its different areas, including Islamic institutes, is accounted as the main principle to achieve Divine missions and objectives. From the Islamic standpoint, the managers should supervise their subordinates’ functions and reward them both spiritually and materially.Lenience, affection, courtesy, cheerfulness, integration, piety, patience, skillfulness and being a good listener are among the managers’ attributes in EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES and organizations.Imam Ali (peace be upon him) considered the followings as the main attributes of muslim managers in different levels and organizations: using the facilities properly, avoiding relativism, working ceaselessly to serve people, keeping away from capitalism and capitalists, treating people with justice, avoiding fury in workplace, forgiving and providing the ground for employees to make-up for their past mistakes, assessing the subordinates’ directly and indirectly, keeping away from slackness, rewarding or punishing properly, expressing sympathy toward others, appointing people based on meritocracy, providing facilities for employees, futurism, etc.
