Abstract

Allameh Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Tabatabaee (1281– 1360 a. h.), the interpreter, jurisconsult, and great contemporary philosopher is of the multi-dimensional and comprehensive figures whose characteristics and knowledge deserve to be extensively investigated. Of these aspects one can allude to his spiritual and literal relation with Hafez's compositions. This trait has emerged in both his traditions and his limited compositions left behind him. The present article is to investigate ALLAMEH TABATABAEE's mystical approach and contextual impact from Hafez's poetry in his own compositions.The results of the research indicates that Allameh had profound sincerity to Hafez's mystical speculations, so as, till the end of his life, he used Hafez's compositions as his soul and mind's interpretations in his few stitches left behind.
