Title

DIVERSIFICATION INDICES IN LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS IN THE PROCESS OF FORMAL PUBLIC EDUCATION

Abstract

 The aim of the present survey study was to examine the degree of attention devoted to diversification indices in LEARNING ENVIRONMENTs in the process of formal PUBLIC EDUCATION. The population consisted of all principals (n=30) and teachers (n=263) in secondary education in Marvdasht city. The sample included 156 teachers selected randomly along with all principals. A researcher-developed questionnaire with established reliability and validity was used to collect data. The data were analyzed at two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that principals and teachers contended that entrepreneurship in PUBLIC EDUCATION and its interaction with curriculum design is moderate. Also, while the principals thought that library, laboratory, and workshop activities were attended above average, the teachers evaluated them to be average in PUBLIC EDUCATION. In addition, the principals perceived the interaction between education systems and other agencies and institutions in PUBLIC EDUCATION to be moderate though the teachers regarded it to be below average.
