Abstract

 This causal-comparative study aimed to determine the effect of establishing SMART SCHOOLs in interaction with attitude to ICT on promoting TEACHING/LEARNING PROCESS and academic self-efficacy of third- graders of secondary school. From among all SMART SCHOOLs in Tabriz city, a sample (n=346) of 12 schools (6 smart and 6 ordinary ones) was selected through random cluster sampling. Research instruments involved three validated questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOY A) and independent t-test. The results indicated that there was a significant difference between TEACHING/LEARNING PROCESS in smart and ordinary schools. However, the results revealed no statistically significant differences among learning process, school interaction effect, and attitude to teaching/learning technology in smart and ordinary schools.
