SELF-EVALUATION OF KANOON CENTERS IN FARS PROVINCE BASED ON EFQM FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF TEACHERS

Abstract

 As SELF-EVALUATION is a key process to accomplish development according to the EFQM sublimity model through identifying weaknesses and strengths. Thus, this descriptive study aimed to describe the dimensions of organizational sublimity in KANOON in Fars province based on EFQM model. The study population (n= 141) included all part- and full-time teachers of the centers in the province. A use was made of a questionnaire of European foundation quality model. The results of t-test analysis suggested that in this evaluation, the centers gained 449 (out of 1000 points) out of which 259 and J 90 points were related to empowering factors and results respectively. The findings further indicated in the domain of empowerment diverse criteria were scored differentially (leadership 57%, policy and strategy 72%, employers 53%, partners and resources 57% and processes 33%). And in the domain of results other criteria obtained different points (customer 22%, employers 43%, society 92% and performance 34%). With the exception of society factor there was a significant difference between the obtained and expected averages in terms of ORGANIZATIONAL SUBLIMITY MODEL.
