Abstract

The Propose of this study is to investigate the NEUROLOGICAL FUNCTION of Iranian AMATEUR BOXERS. The tastes were assigned in there groups of twenty. The first group included AMATEUR BOXERS with at least four years of activity (who are exposed to violent shocks in the head), the second group with at least four years of activity (who are exposed to not very harsh shocks in the heed), and the third group were chosen from non- athlete individuals. The groups were homogeneous in weight, height, and education. In order to identify mental disorder the subjects were interviewed by a physician. Then Wiskansen, Bonardel, Gestalt, Kim Carad's pictured memory, Benton, and kesler's memory tests were administered. The results indicated that there is a significant difference between the two group's neurological qualities and their VISUAL- STRUCTURAL ABILITIES. In general, it can be noted that a four year period of boxing activity can have a significant effect on the boxers perception deficiency, on their spatial path finding ability, and may lead to a decrease in the boxers NEUROLOGICAL FUNCTIONs.
