Abstract

The Purpose of the Present research is to investigate the Prevalence amount of mental disorders in criminals and its relationship with CRIME, mental disorders were assessed on the basis of the survey research and Millon clinical Multi Axial Inventory II and also, the relationship between different factors and mental disorders was examined by using the correlation method. The statistical universe involved all the imprisoned criminals sentenced to the imprisonment for intentional CRIMEs in the selected PRISONs in Tehran Province.440 of them Were chosen in the selected PRISONs on the basis of random sampling and the results revealed that the frequency of the disorders in avoidant, narcissist, anti Social, Passive- aggressive and self- destructive Characters was more than other disorders. Analysis also showed that there's only enough of evidence in the approval and confirmation of the relationship between four PERSONALITY DISORDERs and those were schizoid, avoidant, dramatic, compulsive, deterministic.
