A COMPARISON OF THE THOUGHT-ACTION FUSION AND ATTRI-BUTION STYLE IN PATIENTS WITH OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE AND DEPRESSION DISORDER

Abstract

 The purpose of the present research was to compare the THOUGHT-ACTION FUSION and ATTRIBUTION STYLE in patients with obsessive-compulsive and depression disorders. A great-comparison Research Methodology was used. The research statistical community recieved all people of affected by OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER and depression that is referring to psychiatry professional clinic ofFatemi in the second half of 1390 year and also within proficiency psycologists and psychiatrists clinics of Ardabil city and by way of diagnostic specialists of OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER and or depression. The study sample of 100 persons (50 patient affected by OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER and 50 patient affected by depression) was selected using convenience sampling procedure. To collect research data, there used from tools of research such as interviewing by way of DSM-N-TR distinction proof and refreshed scale of THOUGHT-ACTION FUSION and ATTRIBUTION STYLE questionnaire. Data were analyzed with multivariate analysis of variance (MANaWA). The findings showed moral THOUGHT-ACTION FUSION in depression group and likelihood THOUGHT-ACTION FUSION in the obsessive-compulsive disorde r group was more. ATTRIBUTION STYLEs for negative events were internal, stable and global in OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER group and in depression group. The ATTRIBUTION STYLE for positive events was stable and global within intemal in OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER group but it was unstable and specific within extemal in depression group. Results showed the importance role of THOUGHT-ACTION FUSION and ATTRIBUTION STYLE within forming and inverting of OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER and depression.
