USING NEURAL NETWORKS IN PROCESS OF ENVIRONMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT DUE TO AIR POLLUTION OF TRAFFIC IN GREAT TEHRAN

Abstract

 Air of the great TEHRAN is highly polluted. Based on studies, the most important cause of air pollution is due to transportation and its traffic. So far, to resolve the problem of air pollution of TEHRAN, many solutions have been proposed and executed. However, the problem is that TEHRAN lacks environmental risk management associated with air pollution. In this direction, clean air and so preventing factors to avoid going beyond clean air are ignored. This research uses an analytical-applied strategy, hourly data of concentration of carbon mono oxide  associated with 12 air pollution measurment stations including Aghdasieh, geophysics, Golbarg, zone 11, zone 16, zone 19, zone 4, Maseoudieh, Ostandari, Poonak Varz, hourly data associated with metrological in 1389 in Mehrabad station including vane, direction of wind and abilities of NEURAL NETWORKs to predict concentration of carbon mono oxide  as an index of transportation in frame of environmental risk management in area of clean air. A MULTILAYER PERCEPTRON NEURAL NETWORKs with a hidden layer, 150 neurons in the hidden layer and sigmoid transfer function with prediction accuracy of the desired interval in environmental risk management in the test step is chosen as an optimal selection. It has been identified that wind speed, temperature and direction of wind have the first, the second and the third roles, respectively on concentration of carbon mono oxide in TEHRAN city.
