Title

THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT LEVELS OF LIGHT INTENSITY ON THE PARAMETERS OF HATCHING EGGS OF ARTEMIA CYSTS IN URMIA LAKE

Pages

  63-70

Abstract

In evaluation of ARTEMIA amphibian, one of the effective, important factors was parameters pertaining to their HATCHING EGGS, and in the meantime factors such as temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen rate, PH, LIGHT intensity, ARTEMIA amphibian density as well as high power consumption in the workplaces of propagating fish and shrimps were examined for the purpose of HATCHING EGGS. In addition, effects of different LIGHT intensity on percentage parameters, efficiency and hatching simultaneity of ARTEMIA amphibian of Urmia Lake have been brought under consideration in this study. Experimentations of HATCHING EGGS and amphibian reaping were done in two separate phases. At the first stage, the results showed that the greatest and least percentage of hatching was found respectively in LIGHT intensity with 2500 luxes and 5000 luxes. LIGHT intensity 0 was seen and also a full dimness was approximately 89 percent. There was no a significant difference from hatching point of view. A LIGHT efficiency was observed in low LIGHT intensity at the protected systems. Simultaneity of HATCHING EGGS also did not show any notorious difference of itself in various Tymars. The worst synchronism rate of hatching was seen in LIGHT intensity with 0 lux. Therefore, amphibian had better repose on a LIGHT intensity between 2000 luxes to 3000 luxes after the early hydration. However, relatively acceptable results have been observed in LIGHT intensity 0 lux so that this issue is of great importance from saving in power consumption in breeding workplaces of fish and shrimps in the long season of the proliferation period. However, the best LIGHT intensity is set forth within 2000-3000 luxes for the purpose of getting access to the highest percentage, efficiency and hatching simultaneity.
