In order to identification of free-living and bacterivorous nematodes belonging to the family Cephalobidae, about 200 samples were collected from natural areas of Semnan province during 2007 to 2009. In this study two species of the genus Eucephalobus Steiner, 1936 viz. E. mucronatus (Kozlowska & Roguska-Wasilewska, 1963) Andrassy, 1967 in association with rhizosphere of a forest tree and carrot and E. striatus (Bastian, 1865) Thorne, 1937 in association with willow, soil and river were isolated and identified. Both species having short and acute labial probolae while E. mucronatus having cylindrical tail with mucron (vs E. striatus having longer tail with prominent ending). In two mentioned species, stoma including cheilostome, gymnostome and stegostome, spermatheca offset and postuterine sac short. Description, measurements and drawings are provided for these species. This is the first record of these species from Semnan province and second report from Iran and males of E. striatus are described from Iran for the first time.

Abstract:

This study was carried out to evaluate some quality aspects such as lipid deterioration on Vacuum Packed (VP) brined golden mullet Liza aurata during 90 days of storage at 4ºC. Peroxide Value (PV) and thiobarbituric acid (TBA) were analysed to determine lipid deterioration at intervals of 0, 30, 60 and 90 days. The data was analyzed by Tukey test and ANOVA. Increasing in PV and TBA were found to be statistically significant in the VP brined golden mullet through out storage (P<0.05). This study showed that lipid deterioration can be considered as one of the chemical assessment to determine the shelf life of VP brined golden mullet during storage. Based on data the best shelf life was found 30 days for VP brined golden mullet stored at 4oC.

Abstract:

The collared dove, Streptopelia decaocto belongs to family Columbidae, and is one of the most common species in Khouzestan Province. This study was carried out from April 8th 2011 to Jun 24th 2011. Reproductive behavior of Collared Dove, Streptopelia decaocto started at April 27th with observation of egg laying behavior and finished at Jun 24th with flight of last fledging. During the study period 19 nests of Collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto) were surveyed. Breeding success was 46.48% was calculated. Breeding rate in the hatching, Nestling and Post-Nestling stages were calculated 60.52%, 42.10% and 36.84% respectively. There was significant difference between mortality in various stages (P<0.05). According to the Mann Whitney U test results, there was significant difference between the success in touched and untouched nests (P<0.05). Two Most important factors that decrease the success rate were predatory and climatic turmoil respectively that cause to eggs destroying and this occurrence happened in the start of reproductive season.

Abstract:

Many biological studies require the estimation of population density or population size are also needed to determine the size of specimens of species distribution pattern is used. So the purpose of this study that on the mountain racerunner at Alvand heights such as accepted, determine the density and distribution pattern. This species is observed only within a small Zagros Mountains in the Kermanshah and Hamadan Provinces has been reported, and a species is considered native to Iran. In this study, that from April to October 2010 while starting activity species after hibernation done, the study area to two A and B share .was the exact density of these methods line transect using the Hine estimate respectively 16.9 and 20.1 individuals per hectare and the estimated population of this species respectively 725 and 321 individuals was calculated. the most important factors in the difference density such Among areas of plant density, the pores and gaps, bait needed, slope and elevation was determined, the pattern of distribution of this species using chi-squared random obtained, using plot and test index of dispersion, chi-squared goodness of fitness and G-test of Williams distribution pattern cavities and prey was Random and distribution pattern plants was pile.

Abstract:

Researchers generally believe that the factors and blood serum of different fish species have different direct and indirect relationship with the many environmental conditions, nutrition, age and etc. This study was done for six weeks in groups A and B with eight treatments and three replicates with 600 specimens of Cyprinus carpio with an average weight of 1.5 g at the Syjaval Bony Fish Reproduction Center (Bandar Turkman, Golestan Province). In group A, 4 treatments, including treatment 1: three times feeding per day, treatment 2: four-time feeding per day, treatment 3: five times feeding per day, treatment 4: Six times feeding per day .The fish in this category based on 5 percent weight repeat the entire body of a baby fish, were feeding in the day. In group B, the four treatments, including treatment 1:2.5 weight percent biomass, Treatment 2:5 percent weight biomass, treatment 3:7.5 percent weight biomass, treatment 4:10 percent weight biomass were four times days were feeding. After dehydration and cleaning tanks, fingerlings fishing proliferation center of the pool hall and amplified and transferred two weeks were consistent with the new conditions after the adjustment period the number of 600 numbers carp fish average weight and length Order 5.1 g and 97.2 cm in size fiberglass tanks 24m2 1.0 (25 number fish per tank) in completely randomized design and distribution for 6 weeks were reared in identical conditions. Children in both groups of fish breeding period were fed with food SFK. The results showed that the mean and SD of glucose, calcium, cholesterol, triglycerides and blood magnesium in Cyprinus carpio at group A, are respectively 75.17±11.11, 9.09±0.59, 101.33±20.77, 269.92±42.41 and 2.84±0.41 mg/dl and group B respectively 81.33±11.12, 8.73±0.72, 90.58±27.01, 221.33±41.25 and 3.23±0.55 mg/dl. Also factors in the results of blood serum Cyprinus carpio showed that the feeding frequency has no effect on the level of glucose, calcium, cholesterol, triglycerides and blood serum magnesium.

Abstract:

In evaluation of Artemia amphibian, one of the effective, important factors was parameters pertaining to their hatching eggs, and in the meantime factors such as temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen rate, PH, light intensity, Artemia amphibian density as well as high power consumption in the workplaces of propagating fish and shrimps were examined for the purpose of hatching eggs. In addition, effects of different light intensity on percentage parameters, efficiency and hatching simultaneity of Artemia amphibian of Urmia Lake have been brought under consideration in this study. Experimentations of hatching eggs and amphibian reaping were done in two separate phases. At the first stage, the results showed that the greatest and least percentage of hatching was found respectively in light intensity with 2500 luxes and 5000 luxes. Light intensity 0 was seen and also a full dimness was approximately 89 percent. There was no a significant difference from hatching point of view. A light efficiency was observed in low light intensity at the protected systems. Simultaneity of hatching eggs also did not show any notorious difference of itself in various Tymars. The worst synchronism rate of hatching was seen in light intensity with 0 lux. Therefore, amphibian had better repose on a light intensity between 2000 luxes to 3000 luxes after the early hydration. However, relatively acceptable results have been observed in light intensity 0 lux so that this issue is of great importance from saving in power consumption in breeding workplaces of fish and shrimps in the long season of the proliferation period. However, the best light intensity is set forth within 2000-3000 luxes for the purpose of getting access to the highest percentage, efficiency and hatching simultaneity.

Abstract:

Today, bleach and cleaning materials are the most common products that are used by the public. Sometimes a mixture of bleach and detergents for cleaning use some of the Chemistry of the further release of chlorine gas poisoning and the symptoms are severe. Chlorine gas has been known as a mucus membranes and respiratory tract irritant .This gas can increase free radicals. Free radicals can cause cell damage. The effects of inhaling the gas and its consumption on body tissues and blood cells, complete information is available The aim of this study the effects of inhaling toxic materials, bleach and detergent mixture of blood cells in the mice. 42 adult male mice NMRI weighing 35±3 g and 10 to 8 weeks to 6 groups were divided into experimental and control groups. Experimental group 1-2-3 with the chamber a glass (chamber) to be inhaled for 20 minutes to spray a mixture of 1 cc of bleach and detergent were used by the nebulizer. Experimental groups 4-5-6, 35 minutes to inhale the same amount of material received mice at 24 to 48-72 hours after inhalation of blood sampling, they were then Giemsa stained slides prepared and examined Newbury. The study was done by increasing the exposure time increased significantly the number of leukocytes and erythrocytes were found to have been transformed. Increased duration of exposure to a mixture of bleach and detergent, and over time changes increased the number of leukocytes.
