Abstract

During HOLY DEFENSE years, POETRY was on the scene as an influential weapon, and it praised and recorded the defenses and epics. War came to an end but its consequences have remained in people’s lives. GHEISAR AMIN POUR was in close touch with the soldiers in the battlefields and this connection and familiarity made him a pioneer of the HOLY DEFENSE and revolution’s poets.The issue of commitment could be seen clearly all over his POETRY. He was committed to the society and the belief of the people. Moreover, he is one of the poets of this era who has created a change. In the poetries of this era, great linguistic and thematic difference could be seen comparing the past. His own POETRY has also undergone some changes to the extent that some believed he put aside his previous belief. However, it has to be said that GHEISAR AMIN POUR was a committed and revolutionary poet who was devoted to his belief till the end of his life.
