Pages

  211-236

Abstract

Geographically, DAGHESTAN was located in the most northern part of Safavid s govern men s possessions. After falling the Safavid s government, this territory was occupied by Russians and OTTOMANs. Religious connections between many residents of DAGHESTAN with OTTOMAN caused their relation with each other. This problem later in the age of NADERSHAH was one of the reseaons of the battle policies of Nader against DAGHESTAN’s governors. NADERSHAH for complete domination on DAGHESTAN conducted there three times. Although he apparently gained victories but he could not completely conquer the DAGHESTAN’s governors. The reseaon of Nader’s unsuccessing in DAGHESTAN beside its mountainous and hard conditions, was hidden relation and supporting OTTOMANs from DAGHESTAN’s governors for the benefit of OTTOMAN and Russia in DAGHESTAN.The most important consequencies of these attacks was the defeat of Nader against DAGHESTAN mountain settelers Lesghians and it was the beginning of his defeat in other areas of IRAN. The cruelly way of Nader treatment played an important part in the next tendencies of DAGHESTAN people to RUSIAn and OTTOMANs. Thus, the natives of DAGHESTANs were annoyed of the IRAN government in DAGHESTAN.
