RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND PERSONNEL’S CREATIVITY IN CENTRAL TEHRAN BRANCH OF ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY IN 2010

Abstract

 Today one of the main challenges of management is how to create new generations of intelligent organizations. The aim of the present research is to investigate the relation between ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE and CREATIVENESS in the central Tehran Branch of Islamic Azad University. According to Albrecht’s view, the ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE components consist of STRATEGIC PERSPECTIVE, common fate, trend to change, spirit, unification, knowledge application and functional pressure. The data collection method has been of correlational type. The statistical sample includes 280 university employees at managerial, expert, and clerical levels selected by random proportional classification.The research tools consist of Albrecht’s ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE questionnaire and Randseep’s CREATIVENESS questionnaire. The results of the research confirmed the positive and meaningful relation between ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE and its elements with CREATIVENESS so much so that any degree of increase or decrease in ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE and its elements causes increase or decrease in CREATIVENESS.
