Abstract

To investigate the effect of different levels of NITROGEN FERTILIZERs (0, 50, 100 and 150 kg/h) on some agronomic traits and yield fruit, seeds and oil in medicinal pumpkins an experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with 3 replication. Mean weight of fresh fruit, seed and oil yield per hectare were measured. The result indicated nitrogen levels had significant effect on mean weight of fresh and dry leafs, mean weight of fresh fruits, mean weight of fresh and dry seeds, seed yield and oil yield, the maximum, mean weight of fresh fruit (1.862), seed yield (3598.46), oil yield (1316.821), were obtained in nitrogen rate of 150 kg/h, and percent of oil was obtained at nitrogen rate of 50 kg/h (41%).
