Title

Predicting mental vitality based on school well-being: The mediating role of emotional self-regulatory styles

Abstract

 Study in order to determine the mediating role of styles regulation excitement ( including the style of stealth, endurance and Compatible) in the relationship between well-being of pupils (including with school, social relationships in school and how Khvdkamrvayy) and liveliness of mind of students was conducted to achieve this goal The correlation research method is used. The study participants were 284 students (138 girls and 146 boys) in the first secondary school of Jahrom city who were selected by multi-stage cluster random sampling method. In order to measure the research variables, the school well-being questionnaire (Kanyo and Rimpla, 2002), the emotional styles questionnaire (Hoffman and Kashedan, 2010) and the Mental vitality scale (Ryan and Frederick, 1997) were used. Data using path analysis using the software AMOS analysisTook. The results showed that the research model has a good fit. Findings from the study of research hypotheses showed that social relationships in school, both directly and indirectly ( by increasing the adaptive style of emotion self-regulation) increase students' Mental vitality. Ways of self-aggrandizement increase students' Mental vitality by reducing the latent style of emotion self-regulation. School conditions had a direct and positive effect on students' Mental vitality. Overall, the results of the present study provided evidence for the mediating role of emotion self-regulatory styles in the relationship between school well-being and students' Mental vitality.
