Abstract

Runaway from home is a great problem affecting all societies. It is not a crime and occurs in all societies and at all times. Runaway from home is a socio-familial personal problem threatening the health of the family and society. In any case; researches showed that material and cultural poverty, unemployed parents, lack of insight and ignorance of proper fostering on the part of parents on one hand, and the personality traits of the RUNAWAY GIRLS who happen to be more extroverted, more adventuresome and more monotony-repulsive than ordinary girls, on the other hand, put them to trouble. This study is a survey of PERSONALITY DIMENSIONS and FAMILY STRUCTURE of RUNAWAY GIRLS and the separation from or lack of family consequences was studied and guidelines to prevent such a phenomenon were suggested.
