Abstract

This study sought to investigate the relationship between delightedness and MATRIMONIAL SATISFACTION among the employed female teachers and housekeepers in Arak City. The statistical population included all of the employed females in education organization and housekeepers in Arak.From among the employed females, 100 were chosen based on systematic sampling; other 100 subjects were selected from the housekeepers who had been homogenized to the former group in respect to common-life years and the number of children.19 subjects from the employed sample and 27 from the housekeeper sample were eliminated due to being reluctant to cooperate. Data gathering instruments included Oxford DELIGHTNESS Questionnaire and Enrich MATRIMONIAL SATISFACTION Questionnaire. The data were analyzed via descriptional statistics, including mean, standard deviation; and inferential including Pearson’s Coefficient of Correlation, T–test, and Chi-Square. The results indicated: (1) There was relationship between delightedness and MATRIMONIAL SATISFACTION in the employed females; (2) There was relationship between delightedness and MATRIMONIAL SATISFACTION among the housekeepers; (3) The degree of delightedness did not differ between the two groups; and (4) The degree of MATRIMONIAL SATISFACTION did not differ between the two groups.
