Abstract

The aim of this study was to explore the effect of matrimonial relations training to student couples, at IAU, Mobarakeh Branch during 1388-89 academic year, on their sexual health promotion. The sample consisted of 50 students in two randomly assigned experimental and control groups. The instrument was a research made questionnaire. The research design was pre-test post-test with one control group. First, the pre-test revealed no significant difference between the two groups. Then, the experimental group was assigned to a training program of 6 one-and-a half-hour sessions. At the end of the experiment, both the control and experimental groups were tested again. He results were, then, analyzed using ANOVA & MANOVA. The results showed that the training caused promotion in sexual health among female and male students of the experimental group. In this study, the significant level was set at p<0.001.
