Abstract

In this paper we tried to describe all required steps which are needed to generate an optimized SYNTHETIC SEISMOGRAM, and identifying all the issues which can affect the results in any way, and adjusting them by performing relevant corrections. Conditional and instrumental problems and lack of a well estimated WAVELET and difference in frequency contains of seismic and well data set, are some of these issues. By applying required corrections and consideration on generating SYNTHETIC SEISMOGRAM, without making use of squeezing and extension of SYNTHETIC SEISMOGRAM, a good correlation between real and SYNTHETIC SEISMOGRAM is accessible. In this study a real data set of an oil field in south west of Iran was used.
