Title

THE KORAN IN MATHNAVI

Pages

  73-90

Abstract

Nezami Aroozi writes, " One should get used to reading Great Lord's words and Mostafa's (PBUH) news and the companions' works and Arabic and Iranian proverbs and sayings." For Muslims, THE KORAN is the language of the heart and the reflection of beliefs. Listening to it represents a holy blessing. Islamic LITERATURE enjoys the same variety and liveliness as Islamic philosophy. In this respect, Persian LITERATURE is a collection of hints and precise and delicate points, replete with Koranic meanings. Mathnavi is a highly outstanding work of Persian LITERATURE that has utilized such senses. The present article studies this issue.
