Abstract

Development in technologies and evolution in power systems has changed evaluation of power resources fundamentally. Today, the indirect way of obtaining the requirements are introduced as the “second aspect of power” or “soft power” in which, the favorite targets can be achieved by creating attraction without resorting to violence.SOCIAL CAPITAL is among the new concepts which because of its wide semantic range, has found a significant position among scholars in various fields of political, social, cultural, economic and strategic science. SOCIAL CAPITAL, as a manifestation of SOFT POWER, has had an unparalleled role in I.R. IRAN’s success during Critical junctures. And any increase or decrease of SOCIAL CAPITAL in different layers (people - people and people - the rule) can increase or decrease the system’s soft. This article tries to examine the role of SOCIAL CAPITAL in reproducing I.R. IRAN’s SOFT POWER.
