Abstract

Voluntary Disclosure is a broad concept that has been investigated in various aspects. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between External Financing and Voluntary Disclosure regard to Financial Status of firms listed on TSE. In this study, a sample of 170 listed firms in Tehran Stock Exchange was selected. To examine the relationship between variables, multiple regression, and to fit the regression, Generalized Least Squares Method is used. Excel and Eviews software were used for data analysis and panel data were used for hypothesis testing. The results show that there is a negative relationship between External Financing and Voluntary Disclosure and positive relationship between t Financial Status and Voluntary Disclosure. In addition, Financial Status proxied by market value has an incrasing affect on the relationship between External Financing and Voluntary Disclosure.
