Abstract

Regarding to change in global circumstances in every aspect and especially in social, political, economical and technological contexts, gradually applying force and war classical methods against powerful players loses its value, legitimate and efficiency. So, nowadays, western theorists introduce and politicians consider new concept such as soft power and smart power. On the other hand, while despite of military pressure (Iran- Iraq war), terrorist activities supported by the West (such as Rigi Terrorism group, Pejak & Mojahedin-e Khalgh) Iran's ISLAMIC REVOLUTION passes all the tensions successfully and continues its life, today it faces SOFT WAR challenge. In this article, by regarding SOFT WAR trends and dimensions against Islamic Republic of Iran and by using scenario planning method, we analyze the FUTUREs of confrontation of west SOFT WAR against Iran ISLAMIC REVOLUTION. The main question of this research is studying perceived FUTUREs of Iran ISLAMIC REVOLUTION confrontation against enemy SOFT WAR. The result of this research shows that while west pursues various SOFT WAR scenarios against Iran ISLAMIC REVOLUTION by using cultural, political and economical tools, but according to evidences, Islamic Republic of Iran smart behavior and enforcing some of the elements could defeat enemies.
