Abstract

The aim of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of child-parent relationship therapy on parental-acceptance and decreasing of disruptive behavior in primary school children. This study was an experimental research design was pretest-posttest with control group. the statical population consisted of all mothers who have primary school girl children. The sample comprised 30 mothers were selected and were assigned in two group (excremental and control) randomly. For experimental group was executed at ten session of a CPRT program. Instruments for data collection were Porter Parental Acceptance Scale and Eyberg child behavior Inventory. The results of multivariate covariance showed that there were significant difference in Parental Acceptance and of disruptive Behavior between pre-test and post-test in experimental group (p<0/05). Therefore, attention to the efficacy of child-parent relationship therapy on parental-acceptance and decreasing of disruptive behavior have special importance.
