Abstract

Aluminium is a poisonous element and it can poisoned people who are exposed to compounds or its powder. It can poisoned tissues such as brain and it is the cause of neurodegeneration. aluminium salts produce encephalomylopathy in CNS which is a form of neurofiber degeneration and erate some Neurodisease such as Alzheimer.Hippocampus is one part which is damage via AL in Alzheimer pationts. Because of the similarity of AL+3 to Fe +3 , AL can pass from bloodbrain - barrier and inter the brain cells. So in this research we assessed the effect of peripheral and central administration of Alcl3 on nonactive avoidance memory of adult male rats by using shuttle –Box. Criterias which have been used for this test were 1) Latancy in entering into dark chamber. 2) Time spent in the dark chamber. The experiment indicated that after 30 days by oral administration of Alcl3, the rats memory have been reduced and by central administration after 30 days the memory of these rats remarkablly decreased.
