Abstract

This study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of the training package based on religious- Psychological teachings on MARITAL satisfaction. The method of research was a quasi-experimental with pretest - posttest control group. The study population consisted of all married women in Eleven and Twelve region in Tehran is at least one year and a maximum fifteen years of married life passed. The sample of study consisted of thirty-six married women in Tehran Eleven and Twelve region who were Voluntary sampling assigned to two experimental and control groups. Spanier MARITAL satisfaction scales were used to measure the variables. The pre-test was administered to both groups. Then experimental group trained seven sessions two hours under the package was designed based on religious –psychology. After training, post- test was administered to both group. To compare Pre-test and post-test analysis of covariance was used. The final results show that the training package was designed based on religious-Psychological, has a positive effect on MARITAL satisfaction.
