Abstract

The main goal of RURAL DEVELOPMENT programs has been achieving a good model for the distribution of settlements, facilities and activities based on the capacities of the land. In recent years, the development of SMALL TOWNs through developing the countryside to the cities, has been considered as one of the main policies to improve the quality of life in rural areas in Iran. During the recent decades, many rural areas have been promoted to cities. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of RESIDENTIAL COMPLEXES on RURAL DEVELOPMENT. A descriptive study was used where the researchers used questionnaires and had interviews with the residents. The population of residents of the residential complex Ali Akbar and the sample size was estimated to be a sample of 388 people. Data analysis was performed using SPSS SPSS20. The results show that improving services in the residential complex generally results in significantly improved quality of life and RURAL DEVELOPMENT.
