Abstract

The present study, which was a descriptive-analytical research, was conducted with the aim of proposing a psychological analysis of NASHOUZ among women and it led to some results. The NASHOUZ causes to not meet the sexual needs and likely divorce. In the families, one of the causes of VIOLENCE against the women is the men's sexual failure. The NASHOUZ is caused by physical, psychological, and communicational factors. Quran restricts the men's power, roots the NASHOUZ, and prevents from the men's primary VIOLENCE by a three-step process. The solutions in Quran for the NASHOUZ consist of three steps of cognitive (etiology), emotional (emotional confrontation), and behavioral that each step is in consistent with some causes of the NASHOUZ. The third step (in difficult cases such as pertinacity, malice, hatred of husband, dependence on another person) is an informant strike that does not harm in any way and warn the hard consequences of the NASHOUZ. Therefore, the VIOLENCE is not against the women and causes to protect the FAMILY.
