Abstract

This research aimed to make a scale for diagnosing the DEPRESSION based on Some Quranic Verses; thus, the methods applied in the research included the content analysis, the exploratory factor analysis, and the analysis of psychometric attributes. In the first step, six DEPRESSION models and their psychological criteria were deduced from Quran under the supervision of Quranic scientists. After that, the items were designed and their content validity was analyzed by ten religious experts and then they were elementarily performed in a sample of 100. The content analysis showed that the theatrical results confirmed the results in action. Six factors obtained included the seclusiveness, the feeling of futility, the aversion of religion, the lack of confidence in God, the self-sympathy, and the mood swings.
