Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the feasibility of establishing DOCUMENT DELIVERY/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank">DIGITAL DOCUMENT DELIVERY services at academic libraries and RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS located in Isfahan Province.Methodology: This research is a descriptive survey. The research population consists of librarians of the universities and RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS in Isfahan. The sample was estimated 137 persons using random stratified sampling. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire which is based on five-item Likert Scale was used. Using Cronbach’s Alpha, the reliability of the questionnaire was estimated 0.9 and the face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed according to some experts’ views.Findings: Results showed that “Internet access among employees” with 3.42 mean is the highest and “availability of facilities to scanners” with 2.18 mean is the lowest.Conclusion: It was concluded that the feasibility of establishing DOCUMENT DELIVERY/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank">DIGITAL DOCUMENT DELIVERY services at academic libraries and RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS located in Isfahan Province is lower than average and thus it is not at a desirable level.
