Abstract

Nowadays, with the wide spread of urbanization and social insecurity in the cities, the study of security issues, and factors that affect strengthen security in urban planning is essential and it is more sensitive in border cities. Maintain and expand BORDER AREAs security concerns long perennial borders the countries that are neighbors. In this paper we introduce‫ on the sustainable development of BORDER AREAs as the key strategy to maintain and expand border security, BORDER AREAs of study. This study used a descriptive and analytical procedures applied from which information through library resources, Internet resources, and perceptions of documents collected in this research field, the theory of sustainable development in the BORDER AREAs, with select the border city of MARIVAN as a case study, the effect of boundary spatial structure of the region, where it should be. Finally, the conclusion is derived that brings security TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT security through sustainable development and distribution facilities in accordance ‫an appropriate model for sustainable development is not yet. With regard to the planning system, which is part of this type of program properties BORDER AREAs note?
