Abstract

APHANIUS GINAONIS from family Cyprinodontidae4 is an endemic species and it"s habitat is Geno hot spring in Bandar Abbas. This research was carried out on 60 male and female specimans. A ginaonis. 72 MORPHOMETRIC and MERISTIC charachtristic were used. PCA, ordination and cluster analysis were used for analysis the data. The results of present study confirms the sexual dimorphism. Multivariate analysis revealed the most variable characters. These are: rostrum to dorsal fin distance, rostrum to plevic fin distance, rostrum to anal fin distance, weight, total distance, head deapth, head distance, body depth.
