Abstract

Aim: The purpose of this research was to anticipate MENTAL HEALTH and performance job based on PERSONALITY characteristic of elementary school’s teachers.Method: the sample of the study was 170 elementary teachers school. Data via 3 questionnaires contain MENTAL HEALTH (GHQ), Paterson’s job’s performance and Neo PERSONALITY characteristic collected and analyzed.Results: The result of statistical analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between MENTAL HEALTH and teacher’s performance and PERSONALITY character. Analyzing data via multiple regression revealed that extroversion, neuroticism and conscientiousness could predict MENTAL HEALTH and JOB PERFORMANCE.Conclusion: Meanwhile necessity of attention to PERSONALITY characteristic especial in teachers for improves teaching is important.
