Abstract

In the present study, the probability of pedestrian-vehicles collisions through evaluating behaviors of them was assessed by filming in city streets of Babol. The cause and effect relationships The evaluated variables were formed by categorizing the alert graphs of each sample, and ultimately, the causal patterns of the probability of collisions were introduced in urban areas With the increasing tendency of walking by people in human societies, the issue of the Safety of pedestrian crossings is more than ever to be considered. According to statistics from the country's forensic medicine, in recent years, one-fourth of road deaths are attributed to pedestrians. Therefore, the assessment of the probability of collision between vehicles and pedestrians in urban roads can be used to determine the collision models between them. Collision models as a set of causal relationships between variables indicate their role in generating this kind of collision.
